Assignment 2: Exposure

For the second assignment, the class was supposed to capture pictures with contrast and depth. So light was an important factor in this week's assignment.

Sadly for me, the weather wasn't too good when I decided to take the photos. So after waiting for a 4 hr rain to stop, I had to make do with the gloomy weather.

So here's the final chosen pieces:
This was taken beside the old supreme court. Thought that the light coming through the columns and the shadows casted would fit into the requirements for the assignment.

This was taken at a bridge beside Fullerton Hotel. Wanted the metal structure of the bridge to contrast with the 'natural sky'. Comments were that the focus should be on the background. So this photo will not be the final one, as i'll be reshooting it again.

Assessment: I'd give myself a 6.5/10. There were alot of great photos on display during tutorial. What caught my eye was Paul's photos which have a great contrast in both colours and light. So i'd rate him a 9/10.
